Seven Questions (2007-2008) Sachiko Kodama

Collaborator: Hiromi Kawakami

This work was made in collaboration with a Japanease novelist Hiromi Kawakami. She wrote three sets of texts for our collaboration and I proposed three installation plans for each one of the sets.
We discussed and selected <seven questions> as the final installation, which I realized. This piece was shown at Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography (Syabi).
Hiromi Kawakami's voice is projected from a mirror. Sitting in the sink, the ferrofluid movement is perpetuated when people answer to Kawakami:s questions.

Let me know one thing which you don't like others to do to you.
Let me know one thing which you are afraid you might do to others, although you don't want to do it to them.
Are you tired? If so, how tired are you?
