Pulsate -- Ear on the Wall (2007) Sachiko Kodama

In a white room a table, chair and an ear hang on the walls. the lighting of the room wraps down from the ceiling and onto the vertical wall. These off-centered placements of the furniture evoke of another surreal space defying the laws of physics. When people speak to the ear, this provokes the ferrofluid in the dish and causes it to spike up.
