Breathing Chaos (2004), Sachiko Kodama
Year:2004 (short film, 8min 11sec)
Sound by Ippei OguraBreathing Chaos is a short film that uses the dynamic forces of nature to suggest that life emerges from the expression of physical power.
Themes include the chaos of fluidity (seen in my ferrofluid art works), the order that results from it, and the symmetrical splendor born from indeterminable chaos.Note: After my 'Protrude, Flow'(2001) and 'Breathing Choas'(2004) video expression using ferrofluid, numerous video works which included similar expressions started to be released by other professional/amateur artists and experimentalists.
