Breathing Chaos (2004) Sachiko Kodama
In the middle of the gallery sits a small table and a large plate. From this plate, black fluid, made of ferro magnetic powder, grows into a pointed mountain with its surface multiplying into a myriad of smaller spikes, each swaying as if alive. It was designed to transform and I carefully orchestrated most of its movement. But not all, since I wanted this dynamic sculpture to maintain a very sensitive chaos.
